Demonstrating Practical Tameshigiri
The objective of this two target-10 cut exercise is to practice multiple defence and attack to the left, right front and rear.
Imagine, every time an enemy has been cut down a new one takes its place.
Watch the swordsman block and sidestep his imaginary attackers before he slides in to deliver his cuts.
Cutting one target from a static position is fine for basics. In reality however,a swordsman would need excellent sword skills as well as great agility and reflexes to survive such an encounter.
