Battodo: Left handed draw & cut.
Here the left hand draws and executes a katate kesa giri cut. This cut is used to defend against an enemy teki the swordsman had just passed on his left.

From the corner of his eye he sees teki drawing his sword whilest stepping behind him. Immediately the swordsman syncronizes his stepping to the left and in drawing with the left can deliver an unecpected cut to teki's left side of the neck.

WARNING!
This is a highly specialized cut and should NOT be attemted by anyone without having received tuition by a qualified sword master.
