Test cutting
Tameshigiri
by Hans Fricke sensei.

Cutting through rolled up mats and/or green bamboo targets with a Japanese sword is referred to as Tameshigiri and is a good indicator of a swordsman's ability to deliver a true and accurate cut.

Mizu techniques require the top  of a target to be cut twice before falling to the ground.
